Cookie policy

This policy explains how Generate Random IBAN uses cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores. We use them to remember your language and your cookie choice, to protect forms and for analytics.

Language cookie: when you choose a language we store it in a cookie named "locale", so the site opens in that language next time. It does not track you on other sites.

Cookie choice: when you click Accept all or Reject all in the cookie banner, we store your answer for 12 months in a cookie named "cookie_consent", so the banner does not ask again.

Security cookies: only the IBAN validator page sets a session cookie and a cookie named "XSRF-TOKEN". They protect its form against cross-site request forgery and expire after two hours without activity. Other pages do not set them.

Analytics cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga to measure how the site is used. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it sets them only if you click Accept all; if you click Reject all, or do not answer, it sets no cookies and only sends cookieless measurements. Elsewhere it sets them unless you click Reject all. We use Google Consent Mode with advertising storage and ad personalisation always turned off.

Cloudflare may set cookies for security and performance, such as __cf_bm. They are covered by Cloudflare's own policy.

You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics stops using cookies on that page and we delete the ones it set.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the language cookie, the site may switch back to the default language.
