What to test with GE IBANs

  • Accept exactly 22 characters for GE, after removing spaces, and reject 21 or 23.
  • Letters are required at positions 5–6. Test lowercase input too, and convert it to uppercase before you validate.
  • Ready-made invalid values for negative tests: GE29NB0000000101904918 (last character changed, MOD-97 fails) and GE29NB000000010190491 (one character missing).
  • Bank directory checks: by default the generator uses real bank codes such as TB (TBC Bank), and random ones with Realistic off, so you can test a known and an unknown bank.
